SaveMart is proud to offer churches and other non-profit organizations the opportunity to earn cash with our electronic Save Mart S.H.A.R.E.S. Card.
The new S.H.A.R.E.S. gift card program is fast and efficient for your church or organization. The members of your group simply agree to use a Save Mart S.H.A.R.E.S. Card to purchase their groceries at any Save Mart Supermarket, S-Mart foods or FoodMaxx store.
The church or non-profit completes an electronic spread-sheet, provided by Save Mart, inputting the first and last name of the member. The file is then forwarded to Save Mart. Save Mart will print a S.H.A.R.E.S. Card for all registered members of your group. The church or organization will be responsible for delivering the cards to their members (The card has no cash value). Save Mart is not responsible for lost or stolen cards.

The member simply takes the S.H.A.R.E.S. Card to a Save Mart Supermarket, S-Mart foods or FoodMaxx store and starts using it to earn 3% of every purchase. The card may be until it expires.
Each time a card is used, 3% of the value is automatically transferred to the church or organization under the members name. The group will receive an electronic statement each month with the value added and percent earned by individual members and a total value and percent earned by the church or organization. Earnings will be sent to the church or organization electronically on a monthly basis.
How Can Your Group Get Started?
- Contact Save Mart S.H.A.R.E.S. Card coordinator at 1-800-924-2959 or email giftcard@savemart.com to request a master form application. Include your email address or the organization street address.
- Save Mart will email or mail you a master form application to fill out.
- Complete the master form application and return it to Save Mart's S.H.A.R.E.S. Card email address or mail it to Save Mart SHARES Card Applications, P.O. Box 4278, Modesto, CA 95352-4278.
- When your application is approved, Save Mart will send you a spreadsheet in your choice of a diskette, CD or email.
- Inform all group members of the program benefits and invite them to sign-up for Save Mart's electronic S.H.A.R.E.S. Card program. A program description and sample of a registration form will be enclosed.
- Complete the spreadsheet by entering the first and last name of the member. An identification number will be assigned to each member by Save Mart.
- Deliver the spreadsheet to Save Mart via email, or mail a CD or diskette to Save Mart Card List, P.O. Box 4278, Modesto, CA 95352-4278.
- Once you receive the S.H.A.R.E.S. Cards for the members you entered on the spreadsheet, simply distribute the cards to the members and remind them to start using them at any Save Mart, S-Mart Foods or FoodMaxx store.
- You may update any members status by adding or deleting members from a spreadsheet at any time.
